In every Indian Yoga Alliance series, you get a unique, traditional combination of Yoga + Ayurveda modalities to: · release habitual patterns of tension, · release stress and stored thoughts + emotions, · become energized, · balance the elements in the body, · refresh the natural restorative power of your breath, and · develop the skills to sustain your own individual experience of wellness. In-Person Yoga classes rotate between 3 modalities, listed below. 1. Sessions of Pranayama Energy Techniques Techniques to cleanse the neurological channels and begin to manage the body's patterns of PRANA or vital life energy movement through breath control. 60 to 75 minutes each session. 2. Sessions of Bliss of Breath Yoga A class to guide you in a full-body, full range of motion gentle yoga with skeletal movements which are safe and effective for every body type, alongside guided breath and body awareness exercises. 60 to 75 minutes each class. 3. Sessions of Meditation Designed to focus all levels of your self on a single point of awareness, and develop elevated states of emotion through the power of partnership between breath, body, and mind. We will use ancient and modern techniques, including breath patterning, body scan, mantra, and heart-center focus. Sessions start at 20 minutes and build to 45 minutes.
