Service Description

One, 30-minute Usui Reiki Aura clearing treatment with option for interpretive feedback, at the studio. Aura clearing is a technique of Reiki founder Dr. Mikao Usui, used to clear residue in the aura or "ki" energy field, as indicated by a body scan. The practitioner concentrates healing energy at the point of discomfort, and uses specific breath and body work techniques to clear the accumulated stress. This may be repeated several times. Reiki treatment is then given to further healing. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. "Reiki" is the combination of two Japanese words: rei (universal) and ki (life energy). While yoga promotes vital energy from the base of the spine upward, Reiki energy is directed from the crown downward, which makes for a divine energetic partnership for practitioners of yoga and meditation. It is healing on every level and to all systems of the body and mind, with effects even on a subconscious level. During a treatment, most receivers of Reiki experience profound stillness, relaxation, and can access a deeply meditative state while the energy is working. Many share experiences of seeing color, hearing words, receiving affirmation or insight, feeling guided, and connecting with a part of themselves they didn't know they were missing. Every Reiki session is unique. It is best to come with a expectation to simply relax and receive the healing energy that's perfect for you. Please allow 45 minutes for this session, which includes 15 minute diagnosis and body scan plus 30-minute aura clearing treatment.
